About Lindsay

A life dedicated to community, creativity, and connection

I've always believed that even small acts of kindness can ripple outward in profound ways. Though I may not have much to give financially, I pour my heart into giving back through time, presence, and words.

Community Involvement

Unitarian Church

My spiritual home at the Unitarian church provides opportunities to share readings and lessons with my congregation. The values of compassion, justice, and the inherent worth of every person guide my daily life.

LGBTQ+ Advocacy

I'm proud to march alongside my community in Pride parades, celebrating love in all its beautiful forms. Social justice isn't just a cause—it's a way of living.

Red Cross Volunteer

For many years, I've served as a Red Cross volunteer, helping those in need during emergencies and disasters. Helping others in their darkest moments reminds me of our shared humanity.

Singles Group Karaoke

Not all community involvement is serious! I love dressing up for holiday parties and singing karaoke with my wonderful singles group friends. Joy and laughter are essential parts of a meaningful life.

Judy Bolton Weekend

Honoring a Literary Legacy

Each year, I organize the Judy Bolton Weekend in Pennsylvania, a gathering that celebrates the beloved detective book series created by my mother, Margaret Sutton.

The Judy Bolton mystery series captivated generations of young readers with its strong female protagonist and engaging storylines. The annual weekend brings together fans from across the country to honor this important literary legacy, explore locations that inspired the books, and share their love of the series.

Keeping my mother's work alive and connecting with readers who cherish these stories as much as I do is one of my greatest joys.
